About Me

I've been giving people massage since I was five years old, but I became a licensed massage therapist in 2002 after attending Ashmead School of Massage in Seattle.  I have attended numerous continuing education courses over the years.  Some of which include medical massage for the neck, low back and extremities; trigger point therapy, sports massage, zero polarity therapy, thai massage, pregnancy massage, cranio sacral therapy, lymphatic drainage, professional ethics, and animal massage.

I also went to school at the Northwest School of Animal Massage and became a licensed massage therapist for large and small animals.  I am a nationally board certified massage therapist and I am licensed to work in Washington, Montana, and Virginia.  I love to travel and help people as often as I can.

After traveling around the United States for four and a half months, I landed in Charlottesville, Virginia and made it my primary residence in February of 2021.  I have strong hands and a warm heart.  I love to make my clients laugh, but I am also happy to be quiet for the entire session.  It's really just about meeting people where they're at and providing the best service possible.  I am in network with Regence, Aetna, Cigna and United in Washington State, but will be a cash based practice in Virginia.

As well as being a massage therapist, I have been an elementary and middle school teacher.  I have a BA and Masters in education as well as a Waldorf teaching certificate.  I also have a post graduate degree in equine assisted learning.  I've used this knowledge to begin a transformation coaching program for equestrians which focuses on increasing their connection to themselves, their horse, and other people.  I can also help people who don't own horses.  For more information on what a transformation coach is and how I can help you; check out www.dreames-lifecoaching.com.   Thank you for your time and interest.  I look forward to meeting you soon.
